RGPS ~ The P5 girls were a company of jovial, genial and teachable young ladies. With previous background in conventional clay, these intelligent and creative bright sparks chatted humorously, kneaded and moulded enthusiastically into the Friday morning with a free-flow of creative juices and awe-inspiring products to show for.

A natural wonder

No matter which part of the increasingly small globe we live in, we could have seen storm clouds gathering, announcing the expected and proclaiming a great beauty of a rhetorical question. The efficacy of the players involved in this dramatic scene is astonishing and awe-inspiring. Wind, Clouds, Lightning and Thunder work with such frenetic speed and synchronised synergy. At the time that is most unexpected, infinite droplets of rain- offer all their entire beings to earn a standing ovation from everyone who live in parched-dry lands.

The picture you see here is just one awesome example. It was taken just 5 minutes before one of the heaviest downpour in recent months. On that morning, the lightning speed in which this dramatic display took place was nothing short of breath-taking.

The colours of the sky changed and darkened so fast that one would have not imagined that normally, some shafts of sunrays would have pierced the sleepy sky.
Within seconds, i grabbed my digital camera and took some shots of this natural awesome wonder.

Well, the early shutterbird catches the pics.

A day of educational, enjoyable fun at RGPS

I have got to get a trolley. That's a lesson from the RGPS experience. The trolley will be able to transport my stuff, including my clay handicraft work to the desired destination.This is especially so when i will have my exhibits in acrylic cases.

Anyway, the girls were really a creative lot. Very obviously, the school has inculcated this wonderful right-brain desired value in them. Judge for yourself. All i had to do was to demonstrate the basic techniques, which are quite different from conventional clay (except for the kneading part) and they took it from there. Thanks to the models featured here. They looked like they have genuinely and authentically enjoyed themselves, right? Even the teachers are into clay now. (Officially, they paid for the clay);-)

I must thank the teacher-in-charge, Faith, for making this possible. She even took orders for the clay and collected money. Thanks Faith!
